Educational Cruises
Our 3 hour eco sailing cruises provide information about Darwin Harbour, history, and ecosystems, however, we are also able to tailor-make shorter cruises for School groups, conference groups, or research groups with a greater emphasis on the diverse ecology of Darwin’s saltwater ecosystems.
Our sailing catamarans provide the best outdoor platform or classroom to enjoy and learn about the natural ecosystems of Darwin Harbour. Catamarans are ideal vessels for nature viewing due to their ability to sail quietly. With their wide beam, they allow great stability and freedom of movement around the vessel to maximise wildlife viewing and photography.
We will work with educators and teachers to develop an informative and enjoyable programme for all age groups, and with notice we will be able to provide ‘Science’ professionals (for a fee) to enhance any programme.
As well as our short educational cruises, we can also provide 1, 2 or even 3 day cruises for small groups to areas such as Bynoe Harbour.
All cruises are Tourism accredited and eco-certified.
